The Liamuiga Leadership
Robert Cross has more than 20 years of experience as a financier in the mining, hospitality and resort development and oil & gas sectors. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Standard Lithium and former Chairman and co-founder of B2Gold. He was a co-founder and Non- Executive Chairman of Bankers Petroleum Ltd., co-founder and Chairman of Petrodorado Energy Ltd., and until October 2007, was the Non-Executive Chairman of Northern Orion Resources Inc. Between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Cross was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yorkton Securities Inc. From 1987 to 1994, he was a Partner, Investment Banking with Gordon Capital Corporation in Toronto. Mr. Cross has an Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987. Robert Cross is also the Founder and Principal of The Liamuiga Corporation that has been developing luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean, Europe and Canada. He has negotiated and signed branding and operational agreements with world leading luxury operators.
William Anderson brings a wealth of international business experience, with a focus on corporate finance, resort development and mining. He was educated at the University of Toronto, University College Wales and obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor where he graduated first in class in International and Banking law. William worked for Gowlings, in their Financial Services Department representing over thirty banks. He has worked globally for the past twenty years with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. Mr. Anderson co-founded and helped fund the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the Cayman Islands and was the Chairman of Anderson Gold Corporation that owned and constructed the largest foreign owned gold smelter in China. William is Managing Director of The Liamuiga Corporation that is actively developing luxury five star resorts in St. Kitts Southern Peninsula and Eleuthera.
Peter Coote, RIBA, ARB, OAA, was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabewe and brings over 30 years of professional experience in Architecture. He has completed a variety of projects including major commercial, educational and award winning residential designs throughout the world but specifically in Canada and the United Kingdom. One of his strengths is his ability to project manage and co-ordinate large multi-use developments. He is experienced in master planning large projects and is familiar and strongly supports the development of ongoing “green energy” opportunities. In addition, he participated in two major competitions for multi-use developments, namely Canlands in Ottawa and Canary Wharf in London.
